The European Commission has approved Sweden's third and final payment request of €332.8 million under the Recovery and Resilience Facility, the centrepiece of the NextGenerationEU programme. With this disbursement, Sweden becomes the second Member State to reach 100% of all reforms and investments linked to its recovery and resilience plan – totalling €3.45 billion – ahead of the end-of-September deadline.
