Background
A Delegated Regulation adopted by the European Commission on 26 June 2026 corrects certain language versions of Regulation (EU) 2021/821 of the European Parliament and of the Council setting up a Union regime for the control of exports, brokering, technical assistance, transit and transfer of dual-use items. The legal basis is Article 17(1)(a) of Regulation (EU) 2021/821.
Corrections to Annex I
The correction addresses errors in Annex I to the regulation. Errors in Part I in the definition of nuclear reactor affect the Hungarian, Lithuanian, Slovak and Swedish language versions. An error in Part IV, point 2B510.b.2 as regards the characteristics of the vacuum affects the Dutch, Greek, Slovenian and Swedish language versions. An error in Part V, point 3B501.n.4 as regards the type of metal affects the Irish and Swedish language versions. The Swedish language version also contains an error in Part V, point 3B501.n.7.b.1 as regards the type of filter.

Legal effect
The correction does not concern the English version. The other language versions of Regulation (EU) 2021/821 are not affected. The regulation enters into force on the twentieth day following that of its publication in the Official Journal of the European Union. It is binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States. It was done at Brussels, 26 June 2026, for the Commission by the President, Ursula von der Leyen.
